AQUAGUARD COLOURS & FINISHES

Pool colours shown dry and under water

Compare each close-up surface sample with a representative completed pool. Water, depth and surrounding light change how the same finish reads, so use these images as comparative guides and allow for differences in your own pool.

Four speckle options · Filled-pool references · Physical sample recommended

DRY SAMPLE TO FILLED POOL

Water changes how the finish reads

A dry sample shows the base colour and speckle at close range. Once the pool is filled, the water filters and reflects light across the whole interior, so the visible result can appear deeper, lighter, cooler or warmer.

That is why every finish below is shown in two ways: the surface reference and a completed pool with water.

Read both images together

01 · SURFACE SAMPLE

Use this to compare the underlying hue, contrast and speckle pattern at close range.

02 · FILLED POOL

Use the larger photograph to understand the overall water colour in one completed outdoor setting.

03 · YOUR POOL SETTING

Consider the pool depth, daylight, shade and nearby paving, planting and buildings before making a selection.

FOUR SPECKLE FINISHES

Compare the sample with the water-filled result

The filled-pool photograph is the dominant reference because water has the greatest influence on the colour you experience. The smaller sample helps you inspect the underlying base and speckle.

ELI WATERS, QLD · FILLED POOL

Sapphire Blue Speckle

A saturated blue base with dark and light speckle. The Eli Waters reference shows how the finish reads through water in one outdoor pool setting.

SURFACE SAMPLE

Dry close-up reference for base colour and speckle.

CARSELDINE, QLD · FILLED POOL

Lagoon Blue Speckle

A softer blue base with dark and light speckle. The Carseldine reference shows the water colour in a completed vinyl-liner conversion.

SURFACE SAMPLE

Dry close-up reference for base colour and speckle.

NARANGBA, QLD · FILLED POOL

Dove Grey Speckle

A light grey base with black and white speckle. Under water it can read as a pale blue-grey, with depth and surrounding tones influencing the result.

SURFACE SAMPLE

Dry close-up reference for base colour and speckle.

Inverell, NSW · FILLED-POOL REFERENCE

Sand Speckle

A warm neutral base with contrasting speckle. Under water it transforms to a tropical green-blue.

COLOUR GUIDE

Images are a guide because screens, photography, water depth, light and surroundings can shift the perceived colour. Viewing a physical sample is recommended before choosing a finish.

WHY THE RESULT VARIES

Four factors that change the colour you see

The finish remains the same product selection, but the way it is perceived changes with the pool and its setting. Use completed-pool photographs for direction while allowing for differences in your pool.

1

Water depth

Deeper water can intensify or cool the apparent colour, while shallow steps and ledges usually read lighter.

2

Daylight and shade

Direct sun, cloud cover, shade and the time of day alter reflections and the apparent brightness of the pool.

3

Surroundings

Paving, coping, planting, fencing and nearby buildings contribute reflected colour around and across the water.

4

View angle & camera

The position of the viewer, screen settings and photographic exposure can all change how a reference image appears.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Compare the sample, the filled pool and your setting

Start with the base colour and speckle you prefer, then compare the completed-pool references in similar light and surroundings. Pool shape, depth and the balance of shallow and deep areas also influence the overall impression.

Viewing a physical sample is recommended before making the final selection. Sand Speckle should remain marked as a digital proof until its physical sample is confirmed.

Project pages provide more examples across pool types, locations and finishes. The resurfacing guide explains how the selected colour sits over the pool-specific preparation, repairs and reinforced lining.
